- Take me back – Dover… Crafton started the 200-lap event from the 10th position, finishing seventh in Stage 1 and third in Stage 2. In what came down to a battle of the veterans on a green-white-checker flag restart, Crafton finished a season-best second at the “Monster Mile.”
- 2018 Stats… In five starts this season, Crafton has led 11 laps en route to two top-five finishes (Atlanta & Dover). The Menards driver has a season-best start of second (Atlanta), and a season-best finish of second (Dover).

Chatting with Matt Crafton…
“The asphalt at Kansas is getting better with age – we can move around a little more now. I was one of the drivers that wasn’t happy when they repaved it – it had gotten really, really good – but it’s getting there again. The track allows for a lot of drafting, which makes it fun for the fans. We’ve had some success there in the past, and I’m looking forward to getting back there this weekend.”
