News and Notes:
- This Week’s No. 13 Louisiana Hot Sauce Ford F-150… The No. 13 ThorSport Racing team will unload chassis No. 41 for this weekend’s race at Kansas Speedway. Last hitting the track at Eldora Speedway last July, the truck has accumulated one top-five finish and three top-10’s. With Cameron Hayley behind the wheel, chassis No. 41 saw a top-five finish at Kansas in 2015, with top-10’s at Texas Motor Speedway, Michigan International Speedway and Homestead-Miami Speedway.
- Rookie Run… Currently leading the Sunoco Racing Rookie of the Year chase by three points over GMS Racing’s Dalton Sargeant, Snider looks to extend his lead at a track he’s not competed in a NCWTS truck at but has made a start in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards previously at Kansas Speedway in 2016. This weekend’s 37 Kind Days 250 will be the young gun’s second start in the Sunflower State.
- Catch Snider at Kansas… Snider will join fellow ThorSport Racing teammate Ben Rhodes for a Racing 101 Fan Q&A in the Midway at Kansas, Friday, May 11 at 2 p.m. CT, followed by the NCWTS Autograph Session from 2:30 to 3:15 p.m. CT.
Chatting with Myatt Snider…
“With the success our No. 13 ThorSport Racing Ford F-150 team had at Las Vegas, I have nothing but excitement for this weekend’s race at Kansas. I have a previous start there in the ARCA Racing Series. I can’t thank the whole ThorSport Racing organization, and my crew enough, for providing me with the best equipment they can. I feel we’ll have our best shot all year this weekend.”
